Blogs.

As part of a history course titled Landscapes of Grinnell, I maintained two blogs throughout the semester.

For one blog, named “Sit Spot,” I chose a place in Grinnell at which I would sit and observe for 15 minutes each week, recording what I noticed and how the place changed over time. My chosen location was Summer Street Park, a small public park tucked away on a side street, with a playground, community garden, and access to a creek and train tracks.

In the other blog, “Grinnell in the Wild,” I found, researched, and wrote about little-known or interesting aspects of the town every two weeks.

You can view all of my blog posts from the semester on the course WordPress site.
